Werewolves play high energy rock and roll that spans all generations. To sum their sound up in one genre would be an insult to the amount of time and integrity Werewolves have put into their music. Stemming from influences such as Blue Cheer, Black Sabbath, Thin Lizzy, Wire, The Pixies, The Jesus Lizard and Nirvana, Werewolves pay homage to the pioneers of rock and roll and punk in every note they play.
Werewolves members are Bruce Horn (guitar/vocals), Aaron Reinhard (drums/vocals), Paul Owsinski (guitar/vocals) and Doug Wilson (bass/vocals). Werewolves have been together for nearly 2 years, but have been playing music together in different professional outfits for 15 years. Werewolves members are affiliated with local Michigan bands such as Lee Marvin Computer Arm, Sweat, Miles Beyond and Le Voyage, have been in the Michigan scene for 15 years. Members of Werewolves have opened up for bands from Jon Spencer Blues Explosion to Marty Friedman (Megadeth) and have recorded with world famous engineers such as Steve Albini and Jim Diamond.
Werewolves debut album, Six Rooms, was released on March 1st, 2018, and features 6 songs spanning from high energy rock and roll, to punk rock, to stoner metal and space rock. The band plans on touring in July 2018 to take the album throughout the great lakes region. With goals set high and a desire to bring new music to the world, Werewolves are dead set on making an appearance on the national stage by 2019, and world-wide by 2020.
